Join CSTA for the annual meeting of members! CSTA President Rick Pomeroy will deliver an update on the state of the association and the state of science education in California. The development of the Next Generation Science Standards over the next few years holds the potential for some exciting changes in science education. Learn how CSTA has been a leader in this important process. This session will also include a keynote presentation.

Jim Brazell will host a large group interactive keynote session initiating dialogue among the membership about what’s next for science education in America. Our facilitator will tell stories about emerging technology, jobs, communities, and schools while helping us connect the dots between what we honor and cherish in teaching and the future. Jim’s passion is the pursuit and elevation of the voice of teachers, students and communities in the transformation of American education afoot today.
